Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American as well as a Canadian artist and singer. She has released over 20 albums of studio work. The songs of DiFranco are classified as folk or alternative rock. But, they incorporate elements of hip-hop, jazz and punk. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement being one of the first musicians to launch her own record label in 1990.
