Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is from a multicultural family. Born in South London. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, as is her mom who's English. She was raised on the southern part of London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. She graduated with a BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was a part of various stages during her high school days, including the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe started her career as an actor through the film Storm Damage. She has appeared as an actor on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Following that she was cast as Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she was offered the part in the role of Bambi on The ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe was the main character in the comedy of 2008 How to Alienate and Lose Friends. She was also as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written by David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama show was telecast at The CW for only two episodes, but it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Madekwe appeared in all episodes of the series' initial two seasons as the show's regular. However, in May of 2013, announcement was made that she would be departing the show following her guest appearance in the opening episode for its third season. From 2014 to the year 2016, she appeared on Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe was married to her long-time lover, Iddo. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He also played alongside Madekwe on Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. She was raised by the parents Roy and Patty as well as four brothers who were older than them: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey in the winter as well as in the summer. They grew up playing baseball and arenas. Ashley did not have the ability to walk, but she danced. At the age of two, she started Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley was hooked on dance from that moment. Ashley competed in ballet, tap and jazz at the top divisions. Ashley took home the best soloist award at every major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just a few.
