Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was the U.S.'s only female gymnast to be awarded four gold medals. She also won the title of world champion for all-around, three times in succession (2013-15). Biles along with her younger sister Adria, who were adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region), grew up there. Simone was introduced to gymnastics by her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was 6 years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles had a great time in the vault and floor exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the highest level of competition in the year 2011. Within less than two years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles's consistent, exuberant nature and high degree of difficulty for her four events- vault uneven bars balance beam floor workout and floor exercise -- set her above the others.
