Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois. LeAnnekymes and she were both among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American singer and musician. As a teenager, she began her journey into the world of music and was a winner of local contests at the age of 10 old, and recorded her first album at the age of fourteen years of age. When she was 14, she joined Rounder Records and in 1987 came out with her debut album. The band invited her to join the group with who she continues to perform Alison Krauss and Union Station and later released her first album with them as a group in 1989.
